So here’s how it works...
With a secure and direct integration to your ENCart store database, the EPOS till connects in ‘real time’ allowing for instant orders, stock and product information. EPOS ‘in store’ orders and reporting are all managed from one central point - your ENCart admin panel.
The EPOS till is a multi-till/user application that simply runs in a web browser environment* and supports barcode scanning, Chip-n-Pin and receipt printing. Designed for touch screens, the EPOS till is fast, efficient and a ‘must have’ for retailers looking to fully integrate their high street store/s to their website
* Requires Firefox Browser, and recommend Kiosk mode with auto (silent) printing enabled
Chip-n-Pin option
Our full approved chip-n-pin integration allows for seamless communication from the Till System to the Chip-n-Pin device and the bank*. Saving time and reducing errors when manually entering the amount. The Chip-n-Pin device status is displayed on the till screen during the Transaction eg; Enter Card, Enter Pin, Please Wait, Remove Card etc. The system also handles Card Refunds and voided transactions.
The Chip-n-Pin device connects directly to the PC. All communication is via your existing Broadband connection.

Hardware requirements
The EPOS System software is a web based application and therefore does not require a high spec system. We recommend an integrated EPOS terminal if possible to reduce the physical footprint and reduce wire and connections.
